The State of IOT(Internet of Things)

Internet connectivity has moved towards a world of interconnected devices. This could include many everyday devices that utilize embedded technology other than the traditional devices like desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets. These devices can interact and communicate with each other and the outside environment all using the power internet. While the ideas of connecting economy, transforming industry, simplifying tasks are great, IOT can also potentially lead to problems that eventually harm the internet. There might be tens of billions of devices connected in homes and offices in the next few years. However, there is a limited amount of focus on security for the current interconnected devices on market. This fact can be misused and until we address the potential problems we might be creating an industry that is a hazard and nuisance to our society.
