Fullstack Academy x Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Bootcamp
Gain the skills you need to fight cybercrime in 26 weeks with the part-time Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity Bootcamp for Amazon associates. Train for roles like IT Help Desk Specialist, Systems Support Specialist, and Cybersecurity Analyst by studying:

You will also go beyond the course material by building a portfolio of projects. Students meeting all minimum program requirements will graduate with a certificate of completion for the Fullstack Academy x Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Bootcamp.
Amazon associates who graduate from the cybersecurity bootcamp can opt into preparation for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and receive an exam voucher. This certification helps organizations identify talent with critical knowledge related to implementing cloud initiatives and validates cloud fluency and foundational AWS knowledge.
These part-time bootcamps are designed for Amazon associates to pursue high-quality career training in tech while continuing to balance work or other commitments. All bootcamp courses are instructor-led and taught 100% online.
Weekly Time Commitment
Students can expect to dedicate at least 17 hours of time each week, including 6 hours in class.
The schedule for the program is based on recommendations from Amazon to better fit career development into your work life.
Optional study sessions are available to help support students an hour before class and after class.
Fullstack Academy x Amazon Career Choice Cybersecurity Bootcamp Class Times
All classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Class start time varies depending on your time zone:
6:00pm-9:00pm Eastern Time
9:00pm-12:00am Eastern Time
Fullstack Academy has a rolling admissions process and seats are limited, so we encourage associates to apply as soon as possible.
STEP 1. CHECK ELIGIBILITY
- Complete our online eligibility form to determine if you can apply to a program
- Interested students must be 18 years or older, able to meet the program computer requirements, and is a current Amazon associate who has been with the company for more than 90 days
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
- Eligibility to apply does not guarantee admission to the program or funding from Amazon Career Choice
STEP 2. APPLY
- After completing the eligibility check, submit an application form above by the indicated deadline
- No tech experience required
- Takes 30–45 mins
- Receive a confirmation message once you've successfully submitted your entire application
STEP 3. SKILLS CHECK
- Accessible upon application submission
- Complete the 19-question multiple-choice logic, reasoning, and technical open-book skills check + one short answer question about career goals
- Mobile-friendly but a desktop with a stable internet connection is recommended
- There is a 120-minute time limit for completing the skills check, but most applicants complete it in about 30 minutes
STEP 4. DECISION
- Entrance decisions are sent via email
- All applicants will be notified by January 15, 2024 at the latest
- Attend a Career Conversation group orientation session with a Student Advisor and complete select modules in the Intro to Code course that corresponds with the bootcamp you applied for to receive a program confirmation code
- Apply for a full Amazon Career Choice Budget for tuition support on the Amazon website using the program confirmation code
- Apply for a Career Choice tuition voucher on the Amazon website using the program confirmation code
- Admissions into a Fullstack Academy program does not guarantee you have a full Amazon Career Choice Budget available
- All full Amazon Career Choice Budgets must be verified with Amazon Career Choice before a student may enroll

Fullstack Academy offers part-time cybersecurity bootcamps through the Amazon Career Choice program.
While the application deadline for our program is January 10, 2024, we encourage students to check their eligibility and apply early, as seats are limited and time is needed to complete the admissions process and request a full Amazon Career Choice budget from your employer. Final admissions decisions will be sent via email by January 15, 2024 at the latest.
Complete the eligibility form to learn if the Fullstack Academy x Amazon Career Choice bootcamps are offered at your location. Please keep in mind that enrollment into the bootcamp is only possible if you are accepted into a program, complete the admissions and enrollment process, and have your full Career Choice budget available.
There are 6 hours of class time and up to 11 hours of independent study each week for our bootcamps.
All our courses are taught online. Live online instructors will lead 6 hours of instruction and community-based lessons. Optional guided study sessions will be held each week online. Students are encouraged to attend the guided study sessions to complete group work and enhance their learning.
You do need to provide your own computer for the bootcamp. It can be a laptop or desktop as long as it meets minimum tech specifications. We highly recommend Apple computers for our program, however, it is possible to use Windows with some modifications. You must have at least MacOS 10.15 or newer or Windows 10. Because the bootcamp is live-online, you are required to have a webcam and microphone in order to participate in class.

Our program is beginner-friendly. No prior cybersecurity experience is needed to attend. However, students must have basic computer skills such as navigating the internet, computer files, and folder structures.
No, our Fullstack Academy cybersecurity bootcamp for Amazon associates doesn't require college degrees, high school diplomas, or a GED. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend.
Tuition for these programs is fully funded through Amazon Career Choice budgets. Associates do not need to pay tuition or out-of-pocket fees to enroll. We recommend visiting amazoncareerchoice.com for more details about the Amazon Career Choice budget application process. You will need to have your full Amazon Career Choice budget available to enroll in the program.
Eligible associates will apply for their full Amazon Career Choice budget using a confirmation code they receive at the end of the Fullstack Academy admissions process. Here are the steps you will need to complete prior to starting your program:
During the enrollment process, accepted students attend a Career Conversation group orientation session with Fullstack Academy and take an Intro to Coding course. After these steps are complete, you will receive a program confirmation code that you must use when you request an Amazon Career Choice budget. You can submit a budget request on the Amazon Career Choice website or A-Z app. To request your budget, you will need to follow these steps:

To enroll in the program, you must have an approved and full Amazon Career Choice budget from your employer and sign a Fullstack Academy Student Enrollment Agreement. The Student Enrollment Agreement will also be provided after the Career Conversation group orientation.
Fullstack Academy is an authorized training partner with Amazon Web Services. Our cybersecurity and web development bootcamps include preparation for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam for graduates. Additionally, Fullstack Academy will provide all students who successfully complete the in-program Cloud Practitioner Essentials with a voucher to take the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam one time.
