QuikExplr

The idea behind this web app was to get a user's location and give them options for quick trips so they can explore new destinations. It was developed by obtaining the user's IP location by utilizing ipstack API. After randomizing latitude and longitude, the app then uses the coordinates and checks to see if there are attractions around that location through Help API. If it has attractions, the location is then used as their random, chosen destination. The user is able to view weather information with initial data being supplied via OpenWeatherMap API as well as restaurants in that area from the Yelp Fusion API. If the user likes this destination, they can add it to their list of trips. If they do not, they can go back and ask for another destination.
