The Bootcamp Prep program was exactly what I needed in order to pass the Fullstack entrance exam. It was not only informative but enjoyable.

Michael Romani

Customer Testimonails

Getting to do pair programming with other beginners gave me tons of confidence even though I was definitely one of the most beginner beginners in the class. AND, not to mention, I was able to get into Grace Hopper about three weeks after the course was over, something I was not sure I was ready for at all prior to taking the course!

The deeper sense of understanding JavaScript that I received from the Bootcamp Prep course allowed me to approach my application and interview process with confidence.

Admissions for Prep in a Week and Prep in a Month

There is a light admissions process for the live versions of Bootcamp Prep. Although it's designed for beginners, the curriculum starts with the assumption that students have basic familiarity with JavaScript syntax. This allows the class to move at a good pace and yield quality outcomes for students.

Here's what the admissions process looks like:

  1. When you sign up for Prep in a Week or Prep in a Month, you'll answer several short admissions-related questions.
  2. You're then invited to take a short coding assessment. The assessment has “easy” level questions on topics like Strings, Arrays, and Loops. Completing the Codecademy JavaScript track is likely enough preparation for it, though taking a video-based course like Fullstack Academy's JavaScript Jumpstart is even better.
  3. After you take the assessment, we'll get back to you in a few days to let you know the outcome.
  4. If you pass the test and are accepted, your spot will be confirmed and you’ll be ready to start class on Day 1 of your selected cohort.
  5. If you don't pass the test, you will have the option to defer to the next cohort (free of charge), so you have a chance to study some more and take the test again. Or you can choose to receive a full refund of your course fee.
