DJ'ing with motion capture and JavaScript

Have you ever wanted to DJ using motion control? Now you can, with DJ JS.

Will Jacobson created this app using a motion detection library called JS Motion Detection, created some divs, oriented them using CSS, and then wrote a few listener functions to make it work. He created tracks in Garage Band, uploaded them to Soundcloud, and then streamed them back down using the Soundcloud API. This meant he didn't have to create a database or manage any sound files, which made it easier to build the app so quickly.

If you're feeling inspired and want to play with DJ JS, check out the code repo at https://github.com/willzjacobson/djjs -- and make some beats of your own!
