Sockets allow real-time communication of data, including game data! David Geiss showcases the use of sockets and sending data to every player connected in the game so you can keep track of the competition while racing each other. PIXI.js is the underlying library used, which is a wrapper for WebGL 2.0, a super fast web graphics library already accessible on over 50% of modern browsers.
