If you're a fan of crosswords, you'll know the fun of huddling around a computer to work through a puzzle with friends. Times Two lets you do exactly that, but on separate machines!
Times Two is a Chrome extension that enables real-time, multi-player input on the New York Times online crossword. A content script listens for changes in puzzle fill and players' location on the board, and a background script handles these changes, which are broadcast to all players through WebSockets.
Times Two will be available on the Chrome Web Store soon, but in the meantime, check out the code at https://github.com/melaniemohn/times-two
