Intro to Streams in Node

In this tech talk, Chris Heller introduces us to streams -- a tool for reading and writing data in chunks -- as used in the javascript backend platform NodeJS. Chris first shows us that the http communications we use so regularly actually depend on streaming, before diving into the particulars of how streams are constructed in Node, and outlining the main four types: readable, writable, duplex, and transform. Throughout the talk, Chris emphasizes the advantages that streams afford, namely in speed and memory usage.
